One of my favorite things about the sampler boxes is that most of the packets are the perfect portion for a small teapot full or a carafe for cold brew. I did iced tea with these three blends so I steeped a little longer and popped it in the fridge. Use whatever you have for a cold brew or iced tea jug. First up is Sweet Melon Herbal! Honeydew is one of my favorite summertime fruits. This blend is loaded in honeydew chunks, apples, and strawberries, but the honeydew really steals the show. So crisp and refreshing. It has it's own mild sweetness, but a few drops of agave really made the melon flavor pop!
Beachberry Twist Green Tea! Whoa! I sipped on this all weekend! I LOVE cucumbers, especially in the summer; cucumber and lemon water is so delicious. Imagine fresh cucumber water with a little fruity-citrus twist...but with green tea. The cucumber stands out, but the hints of strawberry, mint, and lemon bring it all together for an amazing iced tea.
Chilled Rhubarb Oolong Tea! I brewed this one up for my travel jug that I take to work. I think this might be my first time to have a rhubarb tea blend. Rhubarb has a mix of flavors on it's own: citrus, sour, sweet, apple-grape kind of thing going on (that might only make sense to me). I mostly taste the oolong tea in this one and that's just fine with me. There's just a little nudge of fruity and floral on the finish. It's a delicious iced tea!
