Those magical blue butterfly pea flowers never cease to amaze me. They're fun to brew just to see the beautiful blue color. I had my first cup of this one a couple days ago and I just knew I wanted to share this one with my niece who spent the weekend with me!
As if pretty blue tea isn't enough, Ultraviolet Tea added edible glitter. That's right! SPARKLY BLUE TEA! I'm not much of a blueberry fan, but there's plenty of other things going on in my cup so, I don't really notice it. Besides...it's sparkly! Honestly, it's more of a lemony flavor with some other mild fruity notes.
I fixed mine as a latte. I frothed my almond milk a bit and poured it over the top of my hot brew. It's mesmerizing to watch the streams of milk fall through the sparkling blue and create a soft, baby blue, creamy cuppa! This is a super fun tea for the littles (and it's pretty fun for us grownups, too). I'll use my last couple of tea bags for my ice tea jug that I take to work...just so I can have a beautiful cup of bright blue, magical tea on my desk!
