I would normally choose this type of tea in the evening while I'm winding down or just before bed. A good herbal always relaxes me, especially when it involves chamomile.
Well, at the end of a busy work day, this tea was a nice treat. I already had a glass of iced tea that I just finished so, I decided to carry on with another cold drink. Now, I'm usually
one to turn away from lavender (and there's a lot of lavender in there) but, I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this over ice! If you've never tried one of your teas over ice that you normally drink hot, you'd be surprised at how the flavor changes. I don't do floral, but this may have just changed my mind.
Chamomile and rose hips blended with lavender are the perfect cocktail to chill you out. And not just rooibos, but CHERRY rooibos. I'm not sure if I taste cherry, but there is a sweetness from the rooibos and a slight fruity note.
I brewed this hot and poured over ice, but I'll be trying it hot as well and will post a short review on the Instagram. I might even do an actual cold brew, just for fun!
