Dark Chocolate Cookie

Updated: Jun 21, 2020

I don't know why I'm so drawn to chocolate here lately. I mean, I love chocolate but my cravings for it are out of control, recently. This tea almost smells like a port wine mixed with the aroma of a fine black tea. I couldn't pick up on the coriander and "flavoring" that are noted in the ingredients. There was nothing superior that stood out to me as far as the ingredients in this tea other than just the black tea leaves themselves. Cocoa bits were the other listed ingredient an although the chocolate aroma is present, the flavor is not. With all of that being said, this company must have chosen a pretty high quality black tea because it brewed up beautifully. No sweetener added. Just felt like a good old fashioned cup of tea and, that's just fine any day. This would probably be wonderful with a little milk and just a pinch of sugar. The package does say that it has a high caffeine content. I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine late in the day and I didn't notice it. The website for this tea will lead you to SipsBy (which I highly recommend). Priced at $15 for 4 ounces...that's a fair price for a good tea. I would buy it and I'd encourage you to give it a try.
