I ran across a post by the sweet Robin of UEndure Teas. She was offering a giveaway of two teas that she brewed together and I was curious so, I signed up and also offered to do a review.
Two organic blends: Sencha + Ginger and Wild Blueberry Fields Tea…together? I was unsure. I was skeptical. I was definitely interested because, of course, I will try any and all tea. And, if you know me…you know that blueberry is not my thing, but I’m learning that I can enjoy blueberry when its combined with other flavors.
Well, I’ll tell ya…it’s good. It’s so good. I do mix blends from time to time, but I never would have thought to mix a ginger blend with blueberry. I generally throw an herbal or fruit blend in with a plain black or green, but I usually shy away from mixing two different blends. But somehow, magically, these two pair up so well. Sencha has a “green” flavor; grassy and a little vegetal and when it’s mixed with the fruity blend, it seems to cover up the seaweed flavors that you usually get with a sencha green tea. The ginger is just enough to give you that little spicy bite at the end.
Y’all…you have to try these two teas together. You’ll be amazed at the flavor combination. And, since one is a green and the other is a black, you get a nice little caffeine boost; not to mention the multiple health benefits from mix of ingredients.
Go visit https://uendure.com/ to get these teas and check out the tea ware, too. Robin is an absolute doll when it comes to communication so, definitely support this small business!
