GLOW by CORE Beverages

I was gifted a lovely bundle by Core Beverages; a full selection of their wellness teas. I love the clean and simple packaging!

I brewed my GLOW tea based off of the recommendation from the sweet folks at Core Beverages. They suggested for this brew, to add sweetener of my choice and lime. I knew as soon as I opened the package, with the fruity lemon aroma, I wanted a cold brew. So, I popped a couple bags in my fancy brewing cup (also known as "cheap, store brand, plastic storage container") and left it overnight to steep.

Yum! The flavor is lemony and fruity, just like it smells. Of course I had to sip it before I added anything and it is super crisp and fresh, but it was extra refreshing with the lime and agave. It does have licorice root which usually, is a no for me, but it's not too heavy and the other flavors seem to mask it a bit.

So, on to the wellness aspects! The first two ingredients are nettle and horsetail. Both of these have a ton of properties that keep your skin healthy and "glowing". Horsetail can heal acne, wounds, rashes, and can be soothing to a long list of other skin conditions. AND, horsetail can also promote hair growth. Nettle can treat dandruff and also can help with hair loss. Nettle is also high in antioxidants and can reduce stress and tension. If you've done your homework on hibiscus, you know that it is beneficial for hydration and, staying hydrated is as good for the outside as it is for the inside of your body. So, hydration + healing properties + stress reduction = LESS WRINKLES. At least that's the way I'm choosing to see it!
