Let me first point out the obvious: how cute are these little tubes that this tea comes in? I love that I can just grab it and toss it in my bag on my way to work!
I have a few of these magical little tubes in my arsenal and today, I chose the Naya's Bloom since it's a bit late in the afternoon for me to have caffeine.
This herbal tisane blend is just juicy and delicious. What a beautiful color I'm getting from those hibiscus leaves! I wish I would have steeped it in a clear cup so you could see it!
This blend has lavender and rose petals which are normally a "no" for me. HOWEVER, the orange peel and lemon balm are just the right ratio to balance out the floral notes and bring everything together. There's just a hint of rose and lavender essence and a very mild flavor of each. But, when I say this tea is juicy...I mean IT IS JUICY. If you could squeeze hibiscus and lemon balm into fresh orange juice, this is what I imagine it would taste like. I'm not kidding when I tell you my mouth is watering every time I pick up my cup for a sip.
Mild sweetness, a little tart, a little earthy and a pinch of floral...everything you want in a perfect cup of herbal tea. I'm betting this one is absolutely amazing over ice. I bet it's even better with a splash of vodka or infused into a red wine. It's a very versatile brew! Stay tuned for reviews on the other flavors I have!
