Gunpowder is one of the strongest green teas and it has plenty of caffeine to give you what you need to get through the day; perfect for that afternoon slump.
My favorite part about brewing gunpowder tea is watching the little bundles unfurl as they steep. Gunpowder leaves are hand rolled into little balls or bundles and as they steep, they appear to "bloom" (so give them plenty of space to open up!).
This blend from Tarot is fresh with a very mild smoky flavor and a nice little nip of lemon. And guess what? I didn't oversteep it! I didn't add a sweetener; this was just perfect all on it's own. I'm excited to try this one iced!
